Improve the health and lifestyle of Tasmanian populations most in need, using risk-recreation activities in remote, natural environments.

Tasmanian’s accept full responsibility for developing their potential and embrace the principles of social and cultural diversity through a willingness to participate in shared experiences in the natural world.
Background:
Established in 1983, the Wilderness Program (formerly Project Hahn Wilderness Program) conducts journeys through remote environments to assist specific targeted Tasmanian populations. The Wilderness Program's ethos is based on Kurt Hahn's Outward Bound schools.
